I truly hate to do this. However, I just don't see anyway around it. Walter, my husband, sees his DR. and will get set for surgery first thing this upcoming week. We are putting up 300 feet of fence to accommodate our new puppy. He arrives here tomorrow and is only 7 weeks old.
There are also a few other things going on that are making it virtually impossible for me to keep up right now. Walter is after me about not getting enough rest by trying to do everything here at home and keep up here on the blog.
I simply am not able to keep up with everything. I am officially on break starting now. I am so so grateful to all of my wonderful friends and I miss you all so very much. But, Walter's surgery involves two hernias which are in pretty bad shape and he really needs me to his wife right now and help him! Oh, did I mention we are also having our house painted? Well, we are! I am overwhelmed with real life activity and truly need to take care of my home and family right now!
I'll see everyone as much as possible and as soon as possible!
~God bless and love and peace to all!~

Take a break and take care of Walter and your home. That's more important than anything right now. We all understand about life's little pressures that build up from time to time.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific day honey. I'll see you when I see you. Big hugs. ☺
Perfect title for your beautiful shot Jackie.
ReplyDeleteI hope all goes well for your husband and that his recovery is rapid and painless.
Enjoy your new puppy and take care of yourself too.
we will be here when things slow down for you. I pray now that his surgery will be easy and successful and no problems with your painting and puppy... seems it all came on you at once.
ReplyDeleteYou will be missed my new blog friend!!
ReplyDeleteI pray everything works out for your husband. Take care and see you soon!

This looks like a hawk in the tree. I am so sorry everything is all happening at once!! Life has a way of doing that. We will be here waiting, your husband needs you more than we do!! Phil had hernia surgery long ago when they did not do it laproscopicly. After that, he didn't sneeze for NINE days!! How did I miss your post below?? Hey, we are birdwatchers of over 30 years! Welcome to the fun world of birdwatchers! Don't feel bad, even I do not know the name of the other birds, only the killdeer. But keep up the great bird pictures, have you started a life list yet? Prayers for your husband, and try and find some quiet restful time each day for yourself!
ReplyDeletePlease take care of him and yourself! Both of you are in my prayers~
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about your peeps. We'll be right here. May Walter do as well with his surgery as I have done:) Praying that it will be so.
ReplyDeleteBig hugs, honey...
Dear Jackie, blogging is just a hobby, not an obligation. We will be waiting for the good news of your husband's surgery. I have two hernias that make me terribly suffer from time to time. Therefore, I understand very well how serious and important this surgery is for your husband's well being. I wish you both good luck, healthy and happy days.

ReplyDeleteMy husband had double hernia surgery a few years back - I spent a LOT of time sitting beside his bed keeping him company - and while I did, I sorted 37 years of photographs into albums. I'm so happy to have digital now.
My thoughts and prayers are with Walter through his surgery. We will miss you and we look forward to your return :)
